Balvenie Carribbean Cask 14 Years Malt 700ml

Scotch Whisky
Located at Dufftown in Speyside, Balvenie still grow their own barley and adhere to the traditions of a malting floor, the last of its kind in the Scottish Highlands. The resident coppersmith of Balvenie Castle maintains the Stills, a team of coopers ensure that only those barrels in the most perfect condition are employed. The Malt Master presides over the all important maturation of Balvenie for fourteen years in a selection of oak Whisky barrels, finishing the course in a consignment of well seasoned Caribbean casks which have previously held stocks of ageing Rum.
Golden amber hue. Rich, sweet and creamy toffee nose, fresh fruit notes. Rounded palate, vanilla and sweet oak characters, a fruity character that develops with time. An exceptional Single Malt Whisky, exhibiting the traditional smooth, honeyed character of Balvenie, married with notes of toffee and a hint of fruit, before a soft and warm, lingering finish.
