Grown to the finest bespoke terroirs and crafted to meticulous standards of winemaking, the epics of Dugat-Py are even more remarkable for their term of maturation under the ancient Abbey Aulmônerie of St Benigné. Nothing about the wines of Domaine Dugat-Py is less than breathtaking, their stewardship of local vineyards dates back to ancient times. Coeur du Roy 2010 is an intensely concentrated wine, picked off parcels of Gevrey Chambertin Villages vineyard and treated to a minimalist, old world style of ferments, before an extravagant maturation in new French oak.
