The family Hentschke have been Barossa farming since 1842, they know from good soils and settle on nothing but the finest land. Keith Hentschke chose a special site along Greenock Creek, at the intersection of Gerald Roberts and Jenke Roads, near the ancient winegrowing hamlet of Seppeltsfield to plant vines in the early 1990s. They now yield vintages of the most amazing intensity, saturated with the essence of grand Barossa Shiraz, an international wine industry favourite and a sagacious selection this.. Golden Ball Shiraz CONFIRM VINTAGE

Shiraz Beechworth Victoria
Richly proportioned with mouthfilling savouryness and tannins in full bloom, Beechworth makes mighty Shiraz. Golden Ball pick theirs in three stages, based on perfect timing of each parcel, day by day as the fruit achieves optimal ripeness. The wild vineyard yeasts of early morning harvest, secondary malolactic ferments and extended maturation in the finest Bordeaux coopered oak, complete a wine of extensive breadth, beguiling roundness and ingratiating complexity. A dark tempest of fruit around a core of taffeta coffee oak, tactile flint and brooding tannin briar.
