Right across the road from Jasper Hill's Emily Paddock,a precious parcel of ancient terra rosa soil was acquired and planted to vine by a baronial Mornington estate, highly accomplished growers with a consuming aspiration to grow the finest Shirazin all Heathcote. They settled on a coveted site along Drummond's Lane, strewn with unique green Cambrian shards, a sacred place to yield the top growth amongst single vineyardHeathcote Shiraz. Decades later, the vintages remain excruciatingly measured in availability. Painstakingly hand made, arcanely labelled behind the monikers, Pressings, Block F and Block C, the cherished editions of Heathcote Estate represent the Grand Cru of identifiably terroir driven, small vineyard Australian Shiraz... Hoddles Creek Estate Pinot Gris CONFIRM VINTAGE

Pinot Gris Grigio Yarra Valley Victoria
The Hoddles Creek property is a highly challenging site to manage, the steep slopes and temperate climes however, yield the finest Yarra Valley Pinot Gris. Nothing is done by half measure, the viticultural team afford great reverence for their vines and treat their fruit with respect. Grapes are selectively sorted and treated to a minimalist, old world vinification, foot stomped and chilled for a term of skin contact, pressed into pre loved oak barriques for timely completion of ferments. Pinot Gris for its own sake, a measure of stalkiness and fine grape tannins in exquisite balance.
