Mt Difficulty is one of the most venerable wineries in all Aotearoa, they retain access to some of the oldest vineyards. The propitious vines at McFelin Ridge make a bigger, savoury style of Chardonnay. Destemmed fruit is pressed to a selection of seasoned and new French oak for vinification on full solids to indigenous yeasts, partial malolactic and bottling in March of the following year.
