Case of 6
Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, a seventh of Merlot, the balance in Petit Verdot. Candidate parcels are harvested to a timetable determined by physiological ripeness. Each compononet is vinified in open or upright fermenters with regular, gentle pumpovers and plunging. Fermentation temperatures are kept below 30 degrees over the course of a fortnight, before being pressed or held on skins for additional texture and tannin development. Voyager spends two years in the luxury of the finest French oak, half of which is completely new.
