An extremely limited edition to celebrate the 175th Anniversary of Glenfarclas Distillery, established 1836. A component drawn from the oldest cask dating back to 1952 is assembled with draughts from three casks across six decades to create a most exceptional bottling of Glenfarclas. The taste marries the heavy sherry character of the 1950s and 1960s with the light fruitiness of the 1970s and 1980s, the freshness of the 1990s and the surprising maturity of the youngest casks of the third millenium. The finest stocks across the ages in a single glass.
Amber heather honey in colour. Toffee and vanilla aromas become pronounced the longer the Whisky rests in your glass. A palate of Malt sweetness, sherry complexity and spice leather notes over oak, orange and jaffa. A lingering toffee, savoury seaweed finish with a touch of dry smoke and chocolate. Let the Malt breathe a little or add a drop or two of water to fully open up the dram
