GlenDronach has been crafting the finest Sherried Single Highland Malts for almost two centuries. In 1826 the exuberant and extroverted James Allardice founded GlenDronach Distillery and produced his Guid GlenDronach Single Malt. Situated in the valley of Forgue, nearby Huntly in Aberdeenshire, GlenDronach lies at the threshold of Speyside, nestled within outstanding scenic panoramas and a pristine environment. GlenDronach 12 Year Old is non chill filtered and matured in a selection of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez Sherry casks.
Deep amber, cherry wood sheen. Delicate mix of ripe autumnal fruits, blackberries and plum, candied orange, spiced oatmeal and toasted oak. Flavours of fine Oloroso Sherry and bitter chocolate sauce over festive plum pudding, infused with fabulous spicy notes, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Full bodied finish with smooth tannins.
