The term Finish refers to the additional time fine Whisky spends in oak after it's been aged, infusing the spirit with added flavour and complexity. Creamy, malty and honeyed, Grant's Ale Cask is the only Scotch to be finished in barrels that have previously held brewers Ale. The Master Blender fills oak casks with Edinburgh Ale for thirty days then replaces it with aged Grant's Whisky. The blend then mellows for up to four months, picking up its unique crème brûlée creaminess and silky malt character. Try with a dash of water to open up its wonderful flavours.
