Jack Daniels wasn't very well known when Sinatra started drinking it, but after years of his praise and endorsement, it became America's number one Whiskey. Sinatra always paid for his JD and there was no formal arrangement, other than that Jack Daniel should continue to bottle the finest Tennessee Whiskey. In his honour, Jack Daniel have created the Sinatra barrel, coopered with specially grooved oak staves, which impart deeper colours and bigger flavours, heady spice characters and mouth filling caramel apricot, banana richness.
Dark amber colour. Fragrant ozark oak nose, spiced vanilla, caramel and cola, dried oranges and citrus peel. Silky and smooth palate, bold oak flavour, caramel and custard apple building, cloves, black pepper and spice. The finish is long and lingering, deeply engaging and immensely satisfying.
