Raise a glass to Banrock Station, knowing that proceeds from every drop are donated to environmental projects around the world. The Banrock Station vineyards were developed out of a severely degraded property after a century of sheep grazing. Banrock today are a showcase of sustainable viticulture, employing solar power and renewable materials, leaving a minimal environmental footprint. The cleanest, healthiest grapes are vinified into a fully flavoured, generous Chardonnay wine, without the addition of any sulphur or preservatives whatsoever.
If you love fine wine, you'll appreciate Banrock Station's commitment to the good earth whence it comes. A massive undertaking has seen the area's native wetlands and woodlands restored, creating a healthy environment for the nurture of the cleanest and greenest Chardonnay vines. Native birds flock to the property and it is also a site for eco-tourism. Banrock Station takes care to select healthy grapes of the highest quality, showing concentrated flavours and zesty acid. Fruit and wine, throughout all stages of vinification, are handled gently, with meticulous care to avoid exposure to elements which may cause spoilage. At no stage in the process is any preservative SO2 added. Approx 12.5%
