Long standing relationships with the finest growers, means access to the most splendid harvests, precious parcels of intensely flavoured berries, to be crafted by the stars of the Hardy winemaking team, passionate artisans with a devotion for the sublime, pastoral endowments of the apple isle.
Eddystone Point are an exquisite elocution of the excellence and bucolic grace, which marks Tasmania as one of the world's most distinguished viticultural regions. A collation of choice harvests from the finest vineyards, exclusively hand picked fruit, parts are included as whole bunches, are treated to separate vinifications in a range of open top, temperature controlled fermenters. Upon completion, components are matured nine months in a high proportion of new French oak barrels.
Bright purple colour. Lifted perfume, cherries and blackberry fruit, seasoned by the lifted spice of whole bunch ferment. Fruit driven, velvetine textures, elegant tannins, graceful, exhibiting wonderful poise and balance, a palate of remarkable length, delicately dressed in a satin sheen of cocoa oak, supported by crisp, ripe, refined red cherry acids.
