Adam Marks is a chicken enthusiast. In his pursuit of the ultimate eating fowl, Marks traced a route throughout the barnyards, orchards and vineyards of La Belle France. The strictly sanctioned accord of Sangiovese, Merlot and Canaiolo, treated to an old world style of vinification and filled to French oak for an extended term of maturation. It is here amongst the ancient communes of Castellina, that local growers have been treading and finishing their wines in the good old fashioned packaging which brought the joy of Chianti to the world. A delightfully palatable tradition in the smooth and moreish red wine that's designed for Osso bucco, Cacciatore and Milanese.
