The families of Dugat-Py can trace a history of tending vineyards in Gevrey Chambertin since the 1600s. Even the younger plantings of Coeur Du Roy are up to a century of age, devotedly managed to the soundest principles of biodynamic agriculture. Fruit is all hand picked, meticulously sorted and vinfied in traditional, open cement vats, followed by eighteen months maturation in the finest new oak. Since establishment in 1994, the wines of Domaine Dugat-Py have enjoyed a meteoric rise to status as the most desirable young marques along the Cote d'Or.
