Glenmorangie was established in 1843, when William Matheson bought a license to Distill Whisky on the site of a brewery located near Tarlogie Springs. A pair of antique gin Stills were pressed into service and Highland Malt began to flow. Glenmorangie went on to flourish, to this day, one of the world's most distinguished Distilleries. Dark apricot treacle hue. Lime and orange rind bouquets, sultana and dates, a rich fruity nose laced by tantalising spiced coconut and freshly grated nutmeg.
