Adam Marks is a chicken enthusiast. In his pursuit of the ultimate eating fowl, Marks traced a route throughout the barnyards, orchards and vineyards of La Belle France. He ultimately settled on the Harcourt Valley of greater Bendigo to establish his own agricultural concern in 2004. A true Diplomat always remembers a woman's birthday but never her age. Venezuela is blessed by a humid climate and cooling Atlantic winds which have the effect of ageing a Rum before its time. The finest quality molasses to be found anywhere in the world is treated to an old fashioned, small batch fermentation and distillation process in ancient pot still vessels before being placed in a selection of well seasoned American Whisky oak barrels for extended maturation. Diplomatico Barbet is simply the most stimulating experience at sipping Rum you will ever enjoy.
Fermentations of the highest quality molasses are carried out in open air, followed by passes through an exclusively copper pot still, which produces the most refined distillates, which after maturation in a selection of pre loved Bourbon casks, are assembled by the Rum Master.
