Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough New Zealand
The luscious style of Sauvignon Blanc that speaks of Marlborough has so captured the heart of Villa Loco, inspiring the Clare Valley team team to acquire parcels of the best grapes from across the Tasman. Abounding with pungent tropical flavours and fine zesty acids, Villa Loco is moreish, fruit powered and delicious.
The growers and winemakers collaborate to isolate those parcels of Sauvignon Blanc which are just right for the style of wine that is Villa Loco. Delivered promptly to the Villa Loco wineworks in Clare Valley, parcels are crushed, juices are inoculated to a selection of yeasts and treated to a period of vinification in temperature controlled fermenters, coordinated to retain the vital fruit driven characteristics and to preserve the distinctive nature of Marlborough vineyards. The batches are vinified separately, assessed and assembled into the final wine, unwooded and unoaked, without any maturation whatsoever, translating into a vivacious fruit driven style of Sauvignon Blanc.
