Quinta do Vesuvio is the most magnificent estate of all Douro Valley. Located in the beautiful and austere Upper Douro, its history dates back to the 16th century. Quinta do Vesuvio is the final word in Vintage Port, all grapes are hand picked and hand sorted. Vesuvio is one of the few estates in Douro which makes wines according to the traditional treading method in granite lagares, vinified and finished exclusively as a single Vintage Port. Quinta do Vesuvio are characterised by their immense concentration and power, endowed with uber ripe black fruit flavours.

A superb inky black colour. The nose is brimming with strong notes of violets and wild spring flowers. The palate is long, complex and rich, with layers of flavours that persist.
