Antonio Carpene was the first winemaker to fashion a quality Veneto Prosecco in the traditional Charmat sparkling process. Founded in 1868, Carpene Malvolti have been crafting the finest effervescent wines from grapes harvested off mature vines planted to the beautiful verdant hillsides of Veneto. The rolling lanscapes at 200 to 300 metres above sea level in the historic DOCG districts of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are blessed by excellent exposure to sun and the most favourable ripening conditions.
