Rockbare are raiders of precious but wayward vineyards, planted to outdated standards of viticulture, sadly unviable for large scale winemaking. These are however, precisely the nature of site that Rockbare choose to retain. Winemaker Tim Burvill worked at Wynns and Penfolds, where he refined his style alongside some of the best winemakers in the nation's history. Establishing his own label, he embarked upon a secret project to acquire parcels of prodigal Barossa vine. With a backbone of fruit grown to some of the oldest sites in Australia, much of Rockbare's fruit comes off vines a century or more of age. The intense power and complexity of Rockbare's.. Andrew Nugent grew up next door to the great historical wineworks at Penfolds Magill. He honed his craft as viticulturalist and vigneron amongst the illustrious wineries of old McLaren Vale. In the 1990s, Nugent planted new vines at Woodside along Bird In Hand Road, on the site of an ancient gold mine, a godsend of fortuitously fertile soils and magnificent mesoclimes for stellar quality Adelaide Hills wine. Bird In Hand have since amassed a breathtaking tally of international accolades for the unrivalled excellence of their superlative vintages, wonderfully small batch releases, with the magnificence of structure, seamlessness and immaculacy of fruit,.. Geoff Hardy's family have been making Australian wine since 1857. Geoff grew up amongst the most distinguished vineyards in our land and he knows from good red wine. He retains access to the finest fruit in McLaren Vale and is the man behind many of our nation's most memorable vintages. Undercover is a moniker that Geoff has assigned to a collation of exceptional parcels, albeit bottled behind an abstruse label to secrete the provenance of a spectacular Shiraz. Gary and Nick Farr are father and son, they make wine together but aren't afraid to go head to head when their opinions differ. Nick grew up amongst some of the world's most sacred vineyards, he knows about the land and found a magnificent little site, barely east of Lake Colac. Irrewarra is the vigneron's shangri-la, prepared for viticulture by generations of grazing and eons of the sobering south sea breezes, which stimulate vines to yield meagre harvests of parched little grapes, sleek of tannin and rich in flavour. Vintaged in excruciatingly limited lots, there are fully two styles of Irrewarra on offer, a grapefruit and oyster shell Chardonnay, a.. It's irrewarra by farr»

Bourbon American
Hand crafted at the Lawrenceburg Distillery, right in the heart of Bourbon country, 101 Proof is made in the good old fashioned Tennessee way. It's a totally natural process which has remained unchanged for generations and takes substantially more time and money, but as anyone who has tasted Wild Turkey knows, it's truly worth it. A genuine super premium Bourbon, drinking Wild Turkey 101 is like a lesson in traditional American values, most notably, the uncompromising pursuit of the highest standards in excellence.
The barrels which age Wild Turkey are coopered in Kentucky of oak from Missouri's Ozark Mountains. Wild Turkey requires at least 26 staves per hand made barrel and uses the premium quality, deep layer, heavy char barrels. The additional charcoal covering the interior of the barrel plays a critical role in the maturation. With aging, the Whiskey winds its way through, in and around the thick charred layers, lending Wild Turkey its signature flavour and deep russet colour. After their first and only maturation of Wild Turkey, these highly sought barrels are sold to Canadian, Scotch and Irish Distilleries. Fermented and distilled at lower alcohol levels to retain flavour, Wild Turkey comes out of the barrel at an optimal 109°
Richly amber coloured. An exceptionally soft, but rich aroma for a high proof Bourbon Whiskey, due to quality craftsmanship at all stages and a full eight years ageing in the choicest Ozark oak casks. It's taste is powerful and rich with caramel, vanilla and notes of honey and brown sugar. The finish is very long, rich and full bodied, powerful, yet soothing.
