Named after the guards who protect the crown jewels, it first went into production circa 1876 and was an instant hit, becoming the Empire's flagship Gin. Kennington distillery was established by chemist James Burrough in the early part of the 19th century. Sealed in an epic purple bottle, Crown Jewel Peerless recants the legend of the Tower ravens. An apocolyptic myth, the legend states that should the Tower ravens disappear, the Monarchy shall fall. In fact, the Ravens have all been killed off at least once, they have been repopulated and remain in the care of a Beefeater known as Raven Master
