Coonawarra cattle graziers since 1906, the Reschke family turned some of their land over to viticulture in the 1980s. Such was the quality of Reschke fruit, that it became an essential inclusion for some of Wynn's most memorable vintages and a number of national icon wines. Reschke now keep the pick of crop for their own label, the most princely harvests of Coonawarra Cabernet, Merlot and Shiraz, characterised by their defined regional eloquence and ingratiating palate weight. The fruit of vines, planted to iron red terra rosa soil and nourished by the fertile plenitude from generations of grazing cattle, for every ardent enthusiast of born and bred,.. Dr Frederick Kiel would take the trek by paddle steamer from Melbourne every summer during the late 1800s to spend his summers at Sorrento. His children established a grazing station nearby, on a property acquired from the Baillieu family along Portsea Ocean Beach, ultimately planted to vineyards in 2000. These are the most extreme western longitudes of Mornington, the undulating paddocks and sweeping views of tempestuous Bass Strait are a magical place for growing Burgundesque styles of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, well protected north facing parcels of propitious free draining limestone and calcareous sands. The windswept maritime vineyards of little.. Mornington's westernmost vineyards»
Gary and Nick Farr are father and son, they make wine together but aren't afraid to go head to head when their opinions differ. Nick grew up amongst some of the world's most sacred vineyards, he knows about the land and found a magnificent little site, barely east of Lake Colac. Irrewarra is the vigneron's shangri-la, prepared for viticulture by generations of grazing and eons of the sobering south sea breezes, which stimulate vines to yield meagre harvests of parched little grapes, sleek of tannin and rich in flavour. Vintaged in excruciatingly limited lots, there are fully two styles of Irrewarra on offer, a grapefruit and oyster shell Chardonnay, a.. It's irrewarra by farr»
After founding Mornington's eminent Moorooduc Estate and decades crafting the most memorable vintages for Mornington's leading brands, Richard McIntyre established a tiny, single hectare vineyard, on a prominent, high elevation site at Arthur's Seat, with a view to producing limited yields of the most exquisite small batch wines. The techniques of choice are wild yeast ferments, minimal intervention and good French oak, with a nod to traditional Burgundian practices, which allow the wines to speak of provenance, express their specificity of clone and articulate their sense of place. There's not much Bellingham made but every bottle passes through the.. Limited editions by the master of moorooduc»

Blin H Champagne Brut NV CONFIRM VINTAGE

Pinot Meunier Pinot Noir Chardonnay Champagne France
Mostly Pinot Meunier with a quarter Chardonnay and smaller portion of Pinot Noir, a third of reserve wines are included in the assemblage. Champagne H.Blin & Cie was established 1947 by respected winemaker, Henri Blin. Today it is a co-operative of more than a hundred growers situated in and around the little village of Vincelles in the Marne Valley. A highly distinguished area of Champagne, Pinot Meunier is the dominant grape in Vallee de la Marne, where an abundance of southern facing slopes produce the ripest wines with full aroma.
La Maison H. Blin has established a reputation among the cognoscente of France for excellence and consistency. The dedicated commune of vignerons are devoted to quality and take particular care throughout the winemaking process, applying modern methods while rigorously respecting the time honoured practices of Methode traditionelle. Vines aged twenty five to thirty five years are grown to rich and fertile siliceous or clayey siliceous soils over the splendid underlying limestones which make the Champagne region so unique. H. Blin is rested in bottle on yeast lees for twenty months before disgorgement and addition of ten grams/litre liqueur doseage, a minimum of three months prior to release.
Lively golden yellow colour, an abundant, persistent bead. Finesse and elegance, fluid and powerful, the bouquet presents a beautiful freshness with scents of dried flowers, fragrances of honey essence and notes of white pommes, apple, pear and ripe yellow fruits. Supple, powerful, rounded and vinous palate. An effusive sparkle as the wine grows rounder and develops, offering notes of exotic passion fruits and pear before introducing pleasing scents of lemon and lightly roasted almond. Lovely as an aperitif, H. Blin wine will suitably accompany poultry and seafood dishes, it will also compliment fruit based desserts.
