After founding Mornington's eminent Moorooduc Estate and decades crafting the most memorable vintages for Mornington's leading brands, Richard McIntyre established a tiny, single hectare vineyard, on a prominent, high elevation site at Arthur's Seat, with a view to producing limited yields of the most exquisite small batch wines. The techniques of choice are wild yeast ferments, minimal intervention and good French oak, with a nod to traditional Burgundian practices, which allow the wines to speak of provenance, express their specificity of clone and articulate their sense of place. There's not much Bellingham made but every bottle passes through the hands of.. Limited editions by the master of moorooduc»
Torbreck of Barossa are one of Australia's great export brands, synonymous with luxury and excellence throughout the world of wine. Crafted from the fruit of old and ancient vineyards, the opulence and exclusivity of Torbreck's painfully limited production challenge the primacy of Grange. Established by a share cropper in the 1990s, its precious range has risen to the status of First Growth amongst the community of ardent international advocates. Woodcutter is the entry level, assembled from parcels which may have been destined for some of the brand's lofty icons, an essential experience for all enthusiasts of compelling Barossa Shiraz... Hurtle Walker first picked grapes as a ten year old on the celebrious Magill property in 1900. Apprenticed to the legenderies Monsieur Duray and Leon Mazure, Walker was placed in charge of sparkling wine production for the historic Auldana Cellars at the ripe old age of 21. He saw service as a soldier in World War I and made great wine until 1975. Hurtle Walker's grandson continues the family tradition, partnering with Jimmy Watson winner David O'Leary to acquire the most auspicious Clare Valley vineyards and establish one of the nation's leading marques. Between the two, O'Leary and Waker have claimed every prestigious accolade in the land, a breathtaking.. The illustrious pair of valley clare»
There are four tiny patches of vine at Scotchman's Hill, which have been mollycoddled by Robin Brockett, since the start of his tenure as chief winemaker in the 1980s. Excruciatingly limited after a strict pruning and rigorous sorting of fruit, they each yield a mere hundred cases of wine. Brockett has set aside the precious harvests of these superior blocks for his own label, a personal project to hand craft the finest of vintage, an exclusive range of the Bellarine's most elite single vineyard efforts. So besotted is Brockett by the spectacular quality of fruit from these four regal parcels, he has imported two 800 Litre Tuscan vinification Amphora from the.. Brockett begets the best of bellarine»

Jean Bouillot was a wine and spirits merchant, one of the few of his day to specialize in Cremant de Bourgogne, Burgundy's methode traditionnelle sparkling wine. Blanc de Blancs is a petulant wine from white grapes, almost exclusively Chardonnay with a minor component of Aligote from Maconnais, Yonne and Châtillonais, vinified to true Methode Traditionelle. Parcels are treated to a pneumatic press, which crushes the fruit before undergoing fermentation in tanks followed by bottling. Louis Bouillot Blanc De Blancs is naturally fermented and matured twenty four months in its own bottle, achieving maximum aromatic qualities and finesse imparted by time spent on sedimentery yeast lees. Alcohol 12.0%
Bright straw yellow colour with tinges of green. Its herbaceous nose and soft citrus notes mingle with the fragrance of fresh, dewey grass and scents of freshly opened nuts. Exhibiting the structure of Mâconnais alongside the vivacity and freshness of Yonne, the mouth is crisp with mouthfilling acidity, beautifully expressed like the character of a pink grapefruit.
