In the 19th Century under Dona Antonia Ferreira, the wines of Vesuvio wines gained a peerless reputation for quality and excellence. The only style made from this Quinta is Vintage Port, only in years that meet the most stringent quality requirements. Vintage 1994 was assembled in the spring of 1996, fewer than 3,000 cases were released, bottled exclusively at the Quinta.
