CASK 4043 Distilled in 1972, aged in sherry hogshead and bottled in 2002 when 29 years of age. Colour is of the darkest Walnut. Peaches and a tropical fruit nose first, then followed by deep dried fruits and spicy cloves and ginger. Pervasive dark chocolate background. A rich Spanish oak character of dried fruits and deepest clove like spices. Classic Spanish oak first fill of spice and fruit that lingers and dries at the very end. Price can fluctuate and may change without notice. Delivery of the Vintage Macallans may take up to two months or more. Total outturn 128 bottles. Alcohol 58.4% natural cask strength.
