Johann Gottfried Scholz served in the Prussian army as a battlefield bonesetter, before joining the great emigration of Lutherans from Silesia to Barossa Valley. Established 1908, Redman's Coonawarra are still made by the Redman brothers from fruit grown to the original family parcels.
