There are but two winemakers who can lay claim to a staggering four Jimmy Watson Trophy victories. Wolf Blass was the man behind the label. John Glaetzer was the man behind Wolf Blass. While working for Wolf, Glaetzer was moonlighting on his own brand, applying the same extravagance of technique to the pick of Langhorne Creek fruit. Perfection in the form of black bramble fruit, muscular yet affable tannins, all framed by the luxury of ebony oak. Aspirants of the great Black Blass Label fables of 1974, 1975 and 1976, are privately advised to avail themselves of John's Blend, Cabernet or Shiraz. Crafted from the same parcels, in the same way, by the same hands, that collaborated to create, the most celebrated triumphs in the history of our nation's highest accolade, the Jimmy Watson.. Timeless mystique of langhorne creek»

Glenmorangie was established in 1843, when William Matheson bought a license to Distill Whisky on the site of a brewery located near Tarlogie Springs. A pair of antique gin Stills were pressed into service and Highland Malt began to flow. Glenmorangie went on to flourish, to this day, one of the world's most distinguished Distilleries. The word Or means gold in both Gaelic and French for gold, a reference to the rich golden colour which evolves as Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or matures in a selection the finest French oak Sauternes wine casks.
Dark apricot treacle hue. Lime and orange rind bouquets, sultana and dates, a rich fruity nose laced by tantalising spiced coconut and freshly grated nutmeg. Ginger and toasted almond palate, a deep, warming taste interwoven by a syrup notes, lemon meringue and honeycomb characters. A long and lusciously sweet finish showing lemon zest, white chocolate, vanilla and traces of ginger nutmeg.
