After founding Mornington's eminent Moorooduc Estate and decades crafting the most memorable vintages for Mornington's leading brands, Richard McIntyre established a tiny, single hectare vineyard, on a prominent, high elevation site at Arthur's Seat, with a view to producing limited yields of the most exquisite small batch wines. The techniques of choice are wild yeast ferments, minimal intervention and good French oak, with a nod to traditional Burgundian practices, which allow the wines to speak of provenance, express their specificity of clone and articulate their sense of place. Scotch Whisky
Tullibardine Distillery is nestled at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, where the Highlands of Scotland begin. These Hills are renowned for the purity of their crystal clear spring water. Tullibardine draws water from the same source which fed the first public brewery in Scotland, where King James IV purchased beer to celebrate his coronation in 1488. Today Tullibardine (built on the site of the ancient brewery) reigns supreme as the finest Malt Whisky, possessing the most majestic qualities, considered by the most conspicuous enthusiasts as eminently quaffable.
Tullibardine was brought to life as a distillery by William Delme Evans in 1949. It was purchased by Invergordon Distillers in 1971 and was increased in capacity, employing fifteen workers. In 1994 Whyte and Mackay, who had acquired the distillery, decided to mothball Tullibardine along with various other distilleries due to an excess of capacity within their company. Tullibardine lay silent until it was purchased in 2003 under private ownership. Since re-opening, distillation levels have been reduced significantly. The emphasis is on producing a top quality spirit which is laid down in the best possible casks. Tullibardine is positioned to become one of the most sought after, premium Single Malt Scotch Whiskies
A light, refreshing Whisky that exhibits all the quaffable characteristics of the Tullibardine family of Single Malts. With hints of vanilla on the nose and white chocolate at the finish, this is a well mannered Malt, an easy going Whisky that's simply a pleasure to drink
